Dr. and Mrs. Charles Hamilton Norman III of Greensboro are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Ashford Norman, to Brian Charles Richards, both of Charlotte. Brian is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stoddard Richards, also of Charlotte. Emily is the granddaughter of Mrs. Harry Elmore Brown of Greensboro and the late Mr. Brown, and Mrs. Charles Hamilton Norman Jr. of Cary and the late Mr. Norman. Brian is the grandson of Mrs. Betty O'Donnell Nortum of Kane, Pennsylvania, and the late Dr. Thomas Richard Lehan of Erie, Pennsylvania, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gerald Richards of Poland, New York. The wedding is planned for September 27, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro.
