Kathleen Ann Hipp and Brian Christopher Burgwyn were married May 16, 2009, by the Reverend John Wesley Hipp, uncle of the bride. The ceremony and reception took place at Windows on the Waterway on Hilton Head Island, SC. The Burgwyn family hosted a rehearsal dinner on May 15, 2009, at a private home in Palmetto Dunes Resort on the island. Katy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton Hipp of Concord. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Kathleen Viverette and the late Mr. Cecil Exum Viverette and Mrs. Anne Hipp and the late Mr. James Voight Hipp. Brian is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Buxton Burgwyn, Sr. of Raleigh. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry King Burgwyn IV. After a honeymoon trip to Arizona, the couple resides in Holly Springs.
