Lots of style, even more comfort
Somewhere out there, somebody’s dying to buy a nifty-looking sport wagon with the latest technical features. They couldn’t care less about passenger space or practicality. They want style and distinction. Infiniti hopes there’s a bunch of folks like that, because it has just the vehicle for them: the 2008 EX35.
The EX35 is a slinky-looking all-wheel drive model that features a smooth and powerful V6 engine, distinctive looks and a couple of unique new features. The vehicle itself is unique as well, and shares its chassis with Nissan and Infiniti’s very good rear- and all-wheel drive models: the Nissan 350Z, Infiniti G sport sedan and coupe, M sedan and the larger 2009 FX that goes on sale this summer.
Oh, baby, 1-Series is all BMW
BMW adds a new 1-Series in 128i or 135i coupe and convertible versions for 2008. After selling about 335,000 cars in the U.S. last year, BMW is counting on the 1-Series to help it break the 400,000 barrier--and the sooner the better.
Some see the 1-Series as the low-priced initiation into the BMW performance club. Others see it as just another high-performance member of the family, only smaller than the compact 3-Series, with wheelbase shorter by 4 inches, length by 8 and width by 2.The 128i has the same 3-liter, 230-horsepower inline 6 cylinder as the larger 328i coupe, and the 135i boasts the 3-liter, 300-h.p. twin-turbo inline 6 from the 335i coupe.
