Stephanie Suzanne Harris and Bradford Lee Sneeden, Jr. were married on November 14, 2009 at six o'clock at Edenton Street United Methodist Church in Raleigh. The Reverend Leon Tucker and the Reverend Edward Hill officiated. A reception followed at the Carolina Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Gary Harris. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willis Palmer Conner of Texas and Mr. Winston Bates Harris and the late Mrs. Harris of Texas.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Carolyn Mayo Sneeden and the late Mr. Bradford Lee Sneeden of Cary. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Alfred Mayo of New Bern and Mrs. Mary Sneeden Waters of New Bern and the late Mr. Spurbie Eugene Sneeden of New Bern.
The bride was escorted by her father. Bridesmaids were Olivia Caroline Sneeden of Cary, sister of the groom; Gena Fajgenbaum Combs, Natalie Simpson Davis, Catherine Ramey Fain, Lisa Marie Fajgenbaum, Jenny Sayers Kelly, Ashley Ihrie O'Bryant, Sarah Swan O'Dea of Raleigh; and Jenny Page West of NY, NY. Anne Marie Combs of Raleigh was the flower girl.
Mr. John Alfred Mayo, grandfather of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Gary Conner Harris of Charlotte, brother of the bride; Seth Roland Adcox of Charlotte; Jack Clifton Bissette III, Brian Edward Carr, Duncan McLaurin Gibson, Thomas Baker Glasgow, Thompson Dumont Litchfield III all of Raleigh; Mark Breckenridge Gibbs of Lexington, Kentucky; Adam Richard Davis of Porto Alegre, Brazil; and Lewis Grady McCotter IV of New Bern.
Ushers were Conor John Clougherty and William Royster Roach of Raleigh; Spencer Keith Martin of Aspen, Colorado and Eugene Worth Merrit of Wilmington. Greeters were Betsy Kilpatrick Carr and Parker McAllister Worth of Raleigh. The reader was Gary Conner Harris of Charlotte. Soloist was Sarah Davis Simons of Raleigh.
The bride graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She is general manager of Charlotte's Inc in Raleigh.
The groom graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Life Science and works in the Office of the Governor of North Carolina as policy analyst for the Education Cabinet. He is also enrolled in the evening law program at North Carolina Central University School of Law.
Following a wedding trip to Turks and Caicos, British West Indies, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
