Jessica Kozma Bennett and Randall Wesley Proctor, Jr. married November 7, 2009 at six o'clock in the evening at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Beaufort. The Reverend John Carlisto officiated. A cocktail party and supper followed the ceremony at Clawson's 1905 in Beaufort.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nandor Paul Kozma of Swansboro and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Newton Lee of Raleigh. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Wesley Proctor, Sr., of Raleigh.

The bride was escorted by her father. Ms. Ann Cole of Raleigh, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Susan Rivers Anderson and Mrs. Laura Holt Kabel, both of Raleigh. She carried a bouquet of roses, orchids and tropical flowers created kindly by her stepmother, Mrs. Janet Cochrane Kozma. The bride also carried a blue embroidered handkerchief given to her by her late grandmother.

Randall Wesley Proctor III, son of the groom, served as best man. Mr. Richard Eugene Proctor, brother of the groom and Mr. Rodney Eugene Davis, cousin of the bride, served as groomsmen. All are from Raleigh.

Mr. Rodney Eugene Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Dickie Thompson, all of Raleigh, read readings from the Song of Solomon and the Book of Ephesians. Ms. Mary Kaitland Stuart and Ms. Juliana Trask Proctor, daughter of the groom, greeted guests.

The Holy Eucharist was celebrated during the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of Broughton High School and Barton College. She is employed by the North Carolina General Assembly. The groom is a graduate of Broughton High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is employed by Pierce Insurance Agency.

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Smith, Mr. and Mrs. John Kerr III, of Raleigh, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas White, of Kinston, hosted an oyster roast in honor of the couple at their beach home in Atlantic Beach. An engagement party was hosted for the couple by Mr. Rodney Eugene Davis and Ms. Mary Kaitland Stuart at Mr. Davis' home in Raleigh. Ms. Ann Swindell Cole and Ms. Karen Dockrell hosted a shower for the bride at Ms. Dockrell's home in Raleigh. A cocktail party and shrimp boil was given following the Friday night wedding rehearsal by Mr. and Mrs. Randall Proctor, Sr. at Amos Mosquitoes, Atlantic Beach. The bride treated her attendants to a pre-rehearsal afternoon fishing expedition with Captain Ray Massengill and a bridesmaids' luncheon at Morehead City Country Club.

The couple will honeymoon in the South Carolina lowlands. They reside in Raleigh.
