This week check out Brock Dalton an IT-recruiter by day, the moonlighting mixologist has been a mainstay behind the OMalleys bar for 11 years. A bit of a foodie, when hes not toiling, this tech-savvy bartender digs dabbling in new recipes for his friends and stealing happy hours preferably shore side with his wife and toddler son, Jackson.

Your day job: An IT recruiter for Resolvit, an IT consulting firm in Raleigh.
So, why the two jobs? I really enjoy the people. Bartenders are sometimes listeners, talkers, psychiatrists, therapists, etc. We wear many hats when behind the pine. You never know who will walk through the doors. I have served everyone from a homeless person to a CEO of a company. The options are endlessas to what you can learn from meeting so many different personalities. I truly enjoy what I do.
