DIANA ROSS MORE THAN YESTERDAY TOUR: Whatever you're doing ... Stop. In the name of love. Or at least in the name of Diana Ross — as the legendary diva's set to bend the boards at DPAC. It promises to be a supremely good time. Also featuring special guest comedian Terry Tuff. When: March 11, 8 p.m. Starting at $40. More info

THE DESIGN: Nancy told kids to just say no to drugs. Michelle wants them to just say no to cake. It's an epidemic. So, until kids beat cake, do your part and lay up at Lincoln theatre for a night for some beats "designed" to benefit babes with the sugars. Local band The Design — ironically formerly dubbed "Sugar the Band" — will take stage with their new "Young America" album, and band together with Delta Rae and A Tin Djinn to profit young America. 100% of ticket sales are being donated to Triangle Juvenile Diabetes. So, even if you're busy that night, buy a ticket for the boos. When: March 11, 9 p.m. $10 in advance, $12 at the door. More info

PechaKucha NIGHT RALEIGH VOLUME 6: Anything that repeats six times by popular demand must be solid. So, cop a squat at Noir for PechaKucha's sixth social chat-up — a 20x20-format idea-sharing-on-crack night, where 20 speakers present 20 slides for 20 seconds per slide. How can slides in your face at rapid pace not sound like a good time? Maybe, if we get lucky, they'll add a slide to explain what the hell "bi-winning" is. Talk amongst yourselves. When: March 9, 7 p.m. free. More info

BEER DINNER AT ARTISAN: Belly up for a bevy of brews and chews when LoneRider lassos up Glo-So's newest hip haunt for a four-course sudsy spread. Raleigh's a far cry from the Wild West, but knock back a few LoneRiders and the distinctions may blur. Then again, Artisan serves up Greek eats. So, keep drinking. Maybe you'll feel like a Mediterranean outlaw. When: March 9, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. $30. More info

CORNHOLE SUNDAYS AT CASBAH: Odds are good you were late to something today. "Spring forward" can be confusing. Nothing a pitcher-special of Magic Hat and some outside playtime bouncin' around bags full of corn feed can't resolve. Celebrate that extra hour of daylight, and extend your Sunday Funday into the evening with some healthy Cornhole competition at Casbah's "Cornhole Sunday." Victory wins you a weekly prize, but all players, even sucky ones, get entered in the raffle. Magic Hat beach cruiser, anyone? Score. When: March 13. Signups 7:30p, play 8:30p. $3 to play, free to watch. More info
