ST. PADDY'S DAY: If you're looking for a little luck of the Irish — and really, who isn't — and can't find a blarney stone to rub, maybe a stop-off for a green beer will make you feel magically delicious. And if you drink enough, you might even get lucky. Just don't go home with a leprechaun. When: March 17, all day long. Check triangle.com for a complete list of St. Patrick's Day events, times and prices.

ADMIRAL FALLOW: Scottish gems: bagpipes, men in skirts and Fat Bastard. Now enter Admiral Fallow. The Scottish foot-stomping phenoms are set to heat up Fullsteam with their second-ever stateside show. So, break out those plaid skirts and bounce on over. C'mon. Kilts are sexy. With Wylie Hunter and The Cazadores. Premiere album "Boots Met My Face" is set to release March 28 on the heels of their U.S. run from SXSW through Fullsteam, Durham, to New York City and home to the land of the Scots again. When: March 19, 8-10 p.m. $5. More info

DURHAM CROP HUNGER WALK: Last year, more than 2,000 hoofed it for the hungry for the 36th-annual walk to raise $168-thou for local charities and dole eats to the mean streets. This year, CROP hopes to secure 2,500 roaming do-gooders to fetch over $175 grand. Lofty goal. But you got this. So, take a step against world hunger for a springy Sunday stroll in the land of plenty and use those feet to feed the famine. Distribution charities have included Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, Genesis Home, Housing for New Hope, Meals on Wheels and more. When: March 20, 2:30 p.m. Registration at 1:30 p.m. Walkers invite friends to sponsor them with a contribution of $5, $10, $20 or more. More info

BLUE MAN GROUP: If you can't go to Vegas, at least Vegas can come to you. So, come hang with the muted hairless at DPAC. Haven't you always kinda wanted to shave down, paint yourself blue and bang on PVC pipes? Doesn't everyone? These men made that dream happen. Support it. When: March 15-20, times vary. Starting at $20. More info

30 AMERICANS: If you're over watching the crazy that is Sheen's "Violent Torpedo of Truth" and all the "news" propelling around it — and surely you're so over it — take a gander at some not-so-crazy American artists far more worthy of your attention at NCMA's newest exhibit of 31 artists, drawn from the Rubell Family Collection, running through September 4. Titled 30 Americans. Yeah. ... That doesn't add up. But it's art, not math. When: March 19 through September 4. East Building, Meymandi Exhibition Gallery. $10 exhibition tickets. More info
