Triangle.com's bartender series continues with Busy Bee's Rebecca Hoovler. Poppin' bottles at the Bee since nearly its inception, this queen bee 'tender has been pollinating parched palates since the ripe age of 21. Schooled in the art of communication — she got her B.A. from N.C. State in 2006 — the hooch hustler relies on those crafty skills to chat up local thirsties. And for those rare moments when this worker bee's not at work as a pint patroness, or toiling in the office for owners Chris and Woody? Find her dolin' dough downtown, "supporting the microcosm of downtown Raleigh and its economy."

Hometown: Raleighwood.

How you landed at Busy Bee: I worked with the guys at a different company before here; so I just jumped on for a crazy-awesome ride.

What's distinct about the Bee/Hive: Well, we WERE just in "DRAFT" magazine again as one of the top 100 beer bars in the United States ... but on top of that, we have an incredibly awesome staff, and are the best Pop and Pop Shop in Downtown Raleigh.

Your go-to bev: I'm a hophead, so pretty much any great IPA or other hoppy beverage will please my taste buds. One of my all-time faves is definitely Founder's Double Trouble ... and now I'm thirsty.

Drink you could make with your eyes closed: The Queen Bee, one of our signature cocktails. Ladies and their martinis ... a never-ending love affair.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, even just for a moment, where would you be and why: I would love to go to the Mediterranean — great weather, great scenery ... of land and people (smiles).

Which of your coworkers are you most like to sucker punch? I'd have to say Jesse. Sorry Buddy, love you — but you're just too damn pretty. And besides that, you're a ginger; so we all know you have no soul.

Your TV obsession (channel/show): USA, "Burn Notice." If Michael Westen was a real person, I'd probably stalk him. Waaay too hot.

If they made a movie about your life, who would play the voice in your head? I'd have to say Michael Scott. I have a million "That's what she said" zingers.

If you could live in any fictional place, where would it be? Far far away. If even ogres have happy endings, there's a chance for me!

When you were little, what/who did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a teacher. Then my mother reminded me they don't make enough money; so instead of clipping coupons every day, I'm poppin' bottles.

Concert you'd give your right arm to go to: Woodstock, 1969 style. I can only imagine how awesome that was.

Last song or album download or purchase: Mumford & Sons ... love 'em.

Movie you could recite the lines to: Pretty much any Adam Sandler movie. The chosen ones have to stick together.

If you didn't know better, you'd think this song was written about you: "Reba" by Phish.

A pop-culture phenomenon you could live without: Justin Bieber. I don't get it.

Biggest celeb trainwreck: Lindsay Lohan.

A book that made you want to be a better person: "The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss.

A piece of advice that will always stick with you: Keep your backdoor under lock and key.

Your perfect roundtable — who's there? Robin Williams, Gerard Butler, Sam Calagione, Garrett Oliver, Courtney Love and Steve Berry.

People should know that you: Am f'ing awesome.

You sometimes get mistaken for: Tiffani-Amber Thiessen. But it's alright. I'm saved by the bell.

One thing you refuse to do under any circumstances: Drugs.

One thing you'd easily do for the right cost: For censorship purposes, I don't think I can answer this question.

Most random thing you've been asked to do while bartending? Sing "Happy Birthday" in Hebrew.

Pet peeve: Poor personal hygiene.

Your guilty pleasure: Eating Papa John's while watching "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia."

What one thing do you wish you could tell people about patronizing any bar? Gratuity is not included in the price of the beverage.

Your go-to local pub: Tir Na Nog.

If you're not at work, you're most likely: Boozin' It up.

Other bars in the Triangle you have worked: Red Room and Hi5.
