When a guy is deciding which friend's house he'll watch the Super Bowl, he usually only considers two things: who his best friend is and which of his friends has the biggest TV. The friend with the biggest TV usually wins and the best friend gets a beer and an invite to join.

But when a guy wants to watch the Super Bowl at a bar he has much more to consider, asking himself the following questions:

Should I go to my regular bar?

Which bar has the most TV's?

Which bar has the best drink specials?

Which bar is friendly to my team?

Which bar will have the most stuff going on?

We'll we've done the research, considered all the questions and selected the best places for Giants and Patriots fans to watch the Super Bowl in Raleigh.

Watch the Giants

If you're a Giants fan there is only one place you should be, The Downtown Sports Bar! These guys have been hosting you for the past two seasons. They average 25-50 fans during regular season, and that number has grown during the playoffs to over 100. The DTSB is going all out for the Super Bowl. They're putting up a tent complete with projector screens in the parking lot to accommodate all the extra fans they expect. They'll have a $10 buffet bar with barbecue, wings and pizza to go along with a bunch of drink specials. There will also be a raffle for a 47-inch television with a surround system worth over $1,500. Lastly, there will be over $1,000 in smaller prizes given away during the game.

Bud Light and Jaegermeister reps will also be on site doing their thing. You put all this together and you end up with one awesome Super Bowl party!

Watch the Patriots

If you're a Patriots fan, you're going to want to spend the evening at The Backyard Bistro. The Bistro has been the preferred venue of the Triangle Patriots Fan Club all season long. The Bistro is home of arguably the best barbecue you can find in Raleigh, and we'd recommend their barbecue nachos — they're our personal favorite.

These guys will also have a tent set up outside for overflow. In their main bar/restaurant area, they will have five different projection screens. One of the coolest things about this venue is each table has its own old-school speaker box so you can adjust the volume for your table. Expect this place to be packed with Patriot fans waiting to celebrate!
