Bi-annual Event to Run June 2-8, 2014
The annual Triangle Restaurant Week summer event is set to run the week of June 2. During the event, participating restaurants in Raleigh, Cary, Chapel Hill, Durham and surrounding areas will offer a special, 3-course prix fixe lunch menu ($15) and/or 3-course prix fixe dinner menu ($20, $25, $30) each day they are open. New this year, a few select restaurants will offer an additional 5 course / 5 wine sample from Monday through Thursday. Prices will vary.
"We're proud to present Triangle Restaurant Week this summer," said Shiva Rajlawat, Program Manager for Triangle Restaurant Week. "It's amazing to see how many new restaurants we have in the area and we're excited to get out of our comfort zones this time around."
Since the inaugural event, Triangle Restaurant Week has grown to reach over 1.2 million residents and featured more than 75 of the region's eateries, generating over $500k in additional revenue to the area's restaurants.
There are a few new restaurants participating in this summer's event including Elements of Chapel Hill, Local 22 of Durham and Jimmy V's in Downtown Raleigh.
